You do, in every case. The tool can sit on your own hosting account from day one. If we host it for you, the data is still yours and we hand over a full copy whenever you ask.
That is expected. Because the tool is custom, changes stay contained — we quote the change, make it, and you pay for that change alone. No version upgrade or licence renewal attached.
The date is agreed in writing before we start, along with what is in scope. If we are late for a reason that is ours, you are not charged for the delay. If the delay comes from information or approvals we are waiting on, we tell you the same day rather than at the end.
